Q:

Regulated 25 Condor

The HPA kit will retro fit on any existing Airforce rifle. The regulators we use are made for us by one of the largest paintball regulator manufactures and they guaranteed them to us for one year and there is a field rebuild kit if you wanted it, our testing has been with just one sample which we have shot over 7000 rounds and it has preformed flawlessly. The pressures at which it operates is up tp 5000 psi in and about 2300 psi out. Note that you can get your head behind the site easily, the picture is of one of our 25 Condors with a 28 inch barrel, will run a string on it soon.

here is the link where i copu/paste the above informaion
go and get them 😀

I know we’re supposed to take over one minute to top off our gun tanks. How long should it take to top off a scuba tank?

The Guy at the local paintball shop told me in a recent chat that tanks should be filled at approx. 300psi/min. seemed a little fast to me but I have had a tank filled from him several times and they always read a true 3k so i guess he’s doing something right.

I know we’re supposed to take over one minute to top off our gun tanks. How long should it take to top off a scuba tank?

Hey Adam, when you take your tank/s in, do they fill it for you while you wait?

On the CF tanks yes they do. On the scuba I leave it and pick it up later. You do not want a hot fill on your tanks.

Hey Adam, when you take your tank/s in, do they fill it for you while you wait?

His CF tank is 4500psi, there is no scuba tank that will top that off. They are 3k psi.

I do not think you know much about scuba tanks.

You can easily find scuba tanks that go over 4500psi working pressure and there are a few that go well over that but are very expensive

Mario,

I do know a lot about scuba tanks.

Maybe in Europe and Cyprus you can find scuba tanks that exceed 4500psi but here in the states the most common are 3000psi and most scuba shops will not fill even up to 4500psi. Some will but many only fill to 4350psi and the majority will not fill past 3500psi when it comes to scuba tanks. And I have yet to find a scuba shop that will fill over 4500psi. And here in california we have scuba shops all over the place and I have done business with dozens in the area.

Before anyone buys a Carbon Fiber tank be sure you have a location to fill it and especially see if they can fill to 4500psi. If you do not then do not buy.

Plus, I like that 100fp shot now and then, but I guess, it would only be a change out of air tanks, but I’m like most of the other guys, I hate the looks of the toilet bulb, I’ll wait till the elbo gets here, before I do the change over.

Kato,

And BTW people like making their guns look nice and upgrade them with different parts that is a personal choice so you will see that in any hobby you are in.

And you should not fret so much over people wasting a lot of air or their money. If they have to hook a hose to their gun and fill, let them worry about it. And if they want a good looking gun, so be it. I have never heard a rat or a piece of paper complain my airguns are not regulated.

Putting a regulated paintball tank is not new either. That was done as soon as the adapters were made.

Personally I would not loose the convenience of the current AF tank to use a big ass tank hooked to a co2 adapter. I don’t mind filling my tank every 50 shots until a proper designed one comes out specifically for the Talon.

That system is to huge for that gun and getting it filled will be a pain since it is a 4500 psi. If you already can get the 4500psi filled why not just use a 3000 psi tank like MattUSA or JDS sells and get a reg adjusted/designed to shoot at 2300 psi? Matt and JDS you need to get a reg that can be set at 2300 psi!

At least that way it looks good on the gun. 😀

You can refill the tank from your own scuba tank. Every time you refill the airgun tank the fill pressure will drop from the scuba tank, but at list you will be putting more air than the standard tank of the gun and you will have a lot more and regulated shots.
I see a lot of guy here spending money on decorations and making their guns look cooler, instead of making them more consistent and saving a lot of air at the same time. This guns unfortunately waste a lot of air(energy) and regulating them, should be on top of the list, IMO

Merry Christmas everybody

Here is another update, the numbers are getting better and better with every post.

This is a must mod IMO

A little more power, better consistency and they are going to have new thinner and litte longer tanks for sale soon. No heavy hammers no stronger springs, no polishing anything. All i got to do now is send an email asking for prices and delivery 😀

I bet in .22 with the eunjins you will be very close to 930fps with this setup and with the kodiaks clost to 1000fps. Just perfect for me.

Got me thinking about the elbos now.
