strangely, our common sparrows are all but disappearing, it looks like they prefer the united states to blighty!!
they used to be our most common bird, i believe the wren is now the most common 😉

hello all

i have a problem with grey squizzers (yup- that’s how we spell gray!! 😀 )

i do bonsai and the little sods dig into the dishes to bury nuts in, the trouble is that the smaller trees (mame or shohin) sometimes get dug right out of the dishes, i’ve lost two trees to date, killed by the greys,i work 12hour shifts and in summer they die off when they dry out once they’ve evicted from their dishes..

i’ve ‘removed’ quiet a few greys from my garden using my stealth, it’s nice and quiet and really knocks them over- even though it’s only running at around 11.5 ft lbs…

This is outrageous bigoty towards gray squirrels. Brits need to become more sensitive towards the gray immigrants and their culture and life style differences. Brits need to celebrate diversity.

ya know,If they want Im sure they could hire a few hundred mercenary Colonial air gun snipers ,That would be happy to vist the island,For a small fee and board. 😀
