If you were going to shoot target, would you achive more accuarcy/consistanty from HPA or co2, high power or low?

My vote is for HPA any day over CO2. I’ve used CO2 before and like many have said–velocity drops over time depending on temperature. The bottle chills as well. With HPA, you will notice the difference in power and velocity. Velocity does not drop like CO2 and shots are consistent. I’m hooked onto HPA since I left CO2. I don’t think I will ever go back to CO2.
The one drawback of CO2 is as the day warms up or the evening cools down the pressure will drop resulting in a changing velocity.
If you are aware of that you can compensate and have a blast with CO2 for a lot of shooting.
CO2 is plenty accurate at shorter ranges. If you shoot over 25 yards, I think you’ll get better groups with compressed air. I think you need around 800-950fps in either 177 or 22 cal to get nice groups at 50yards.
Fortunately, you get a free CO2 valve with purchase of a new airforce rifle, for a limited time only.

I love co2 and it is very accurate for short range, up to 30 yrds. there is a problem with temp. though so shoot during the warm afternoon, for 50yrds. no comparason air wins hands down.
