Q:

Just ordered a .22 condor

I know i should have practice some good judgement and restrant and bought a talon ss, but i could not resist the power.

Now my worry is obviously “The Report”.

I’ve heard much about Tonys shroud but need more info. Can anyone help.

Also what scope do you guys recomend without spending as much as the gun on one?

Thanks in advance,

Woody

Condor is in a class of it’s own, there is really nothing quite like it.

Both good guns, just different purposes/categories/performance. I’ve got a couple of the 78’s myself.

You’re going to love the condor though.

yeah my only other airgun is a tf99 chinese springer. i was debating on getting a qb79 and converting to regulated hpa.

Do any of you guys have a qb78/79? how does it compare to a condor?

Woody

I have a few of them and just gave one away on the forum Xmas Contest.

The QB78 are a great gun. But they can not be compared to a CONDOR.

Welcome Woody. Your gonna love it. If your used to .22 rimfire it will be the same. If your used to springers it will seem LOUD!

Geez nice gun Wok! Talontunes will fix you up real nice!

Ooops,

I reread your post. If you need it quiet then the Talon Tunes shroud is a must. They are not inexpensive because of the high quality, time and precision he makes them with.

I have one and can not live without it.

hey thanks for the fast reply. I got the condor not the talon, that’s why i’ll probally need the shroud. thanks again for the help.

Welcome,

With the Talon SS I suggest you visit our section on moderators and see how people are quieting down the SS with some washers and spacers. You really do not need shroud on an SS unless you need it absolutely silent.

As for the scope I suggest the Bushnell Legend. Great scope and not to expensive.

Have fun and report back. 😀
