Crosman 2250
I am interested in getting a 2250 carbine for my daughter(11 years). She enjoys target shooting with me but I have an Airforce Talon and it just does not fit her well. I have done a bit of research online but don’t have any experience with the 2250. Are the modifications done by Mac1 airguns good quality? I am refering to the trigger work, power mods, and accuracy mods. I would also like to set it up for a bulk co2 tank that will not be mounted to the gun itself but be connected by a hose. Who makes that type of bulk system? How many shots should I expect from the standard co2 cartridge that fits into the gun? Does Mac1 sell the guns or would I need to buy one and send it to them? Where would I look for a butt stock that is adjustable for length of pull? I have seen pictures with wire stocks that look to be adjustable. My Talon shoots very nice tight groups at 20 yards. Can I expect the same from the 2250 after modifications like those from Mac1? Thanks for your help.

QB’s are a nice setup for kids. The stocks can be cut to fit them more than the 2250xt and as they grow you can get a better stock.
Crosman 2250 is a nice gun and Tim at Mac1 can set it up for you bulk fill no problem. You might also want to take a look at a qb79. It is a great gun and comes set up for bulk fill. My son loved his when he was 11

Mac1 is top shelf in anything he does.
As stated, there are dozens of mods available for these guns and the QB is another good choice. Best to go to http://www.airgunartisans.com and see some of what folks are doing.

As far as cheap bulk on the 2250, look at the 2250XT, which uses the AirSource bottles. Really, sky’s the limit on these guns.
