Regulated Paintball Tanks – Do they work on a Talon/Condor?
Wondering if the regged paintball tanks like from JDS Airman work on a Talon/Condor?
If so, do they work well and how do you determine what output pressure they should be set at if say you are targeting sub 20fpe in .20 or .22?

Personally, I’ll be most interested in seeing what solution you come up with. I’m just guessing and going on good results from the second hand 850 psi tank I have from JDS, you, OTOH will have time and faciilities to do a proper test of different configurations.

I just sent $ for a used but nicely upgraded Condor so you all should be seeing me on this forum alot more. First thing I will probably do is find a .22 caliber barrel (gun is coming with a .25 cal barrel) so I can do some testing at different pressures.

I just got off the phone after a brief but great conversation with John. With his help, I decided on 1400 psi on the 13 ci tank. I’m after shot count as well as power, seems a good compromise. I’ve tried one of his 850 tanks, it performs like CO2 on my gun (12 fpe with 12 inch barrel, about 20 with the 24). Both out takes was the 22 ci tank would require ape arms to work on a Talon/Condor.
I may buy a second one, as John says he’s getting some very interesting performance on his Hamerlli 850 with this tank/regulator.
BTW, he’s offering 10% off through the end of the day. A good time to jump on it IMO.

Thanks GTBjay, I was quite tired last night and didn’t know how to think right , jds should be able to set up a 20ftp. gun fairly easy.
Welcome to the form tony, lots of good info on the air force line and some of the wall, bent humor as well here.
the air mans tanks are fitting on the guns with the use of the CO2 adapter, there are some rumors that he is working with one of our vales to eliminate the adapter but I haven’t heard anything lately so it may just be rumor.

I’ve gotten two tanks already from Mat Bean and the service and products have been outstanding. I have a small 13ci tank regged at 900psi and a 22ci tank regged at 1000psi that I have on an RWS 850 from Matt and I am very happy with them.
I recently took advantage of the Mac1 sale on the CO2 adapters for $50 and just… TODAY… ordered a 47ci tank from Matt regged at 1200psi for my Talon. Currently, I have an 18 inch .17 barrel on it, but am looking to find a 24 inch .22 barrel to test out.
Nothing against anyone else selling HPA tanks, but I have had OUTSTANDING service from Matt.
