My First 50yd Shooting Session
Hiya Peeps,
This was my first serious attempt at 50yd shooting with Valkyrie. This was done from the prone position using Kodiak Extra Heavy Pellets 21g. Fill pressure was 2800psi. I was very pleased with the results and I know I have a ways to go, but this rifle never fails to impress me. These were on a setting of 6.5 to 6.7 ( around 930+fps) on the power wheel. (Still figuring that out) I drew a bunch of X’s on the target and shot at each one once. I shot at the X’s in random order. Wind was around 5-10mph from left to right on the target. The bottom right bullseye was the highlight of the session. I feel I learned a great deal from this session and look forward to the next one. Practice makes things dead 😈

OK, 18″ is better… I’m thinking about 18″ myself, it seems like a nice compromise…

I have corrected the post the barrel is 18″ not 12″ as first posted. sorry for the confusion.

That is a fine weapon, be proud!! not everyone can shoot that good, I’ll have to try that prone position, while shooting fools, maybe it will help get my scores up, but really good shooting!!!!!!!!!!
I do not think I understand your post. If I shot my Talon SS that good at 50 yards I would be happier than a 20 dollar hooker on a Friday night.

Yep, that looks pretty typical.
You WILL one day hit every X, but probably not every day LOL.
LOL at first I thought you had drawn the X’s to mark the hits (while you were aiming at the center).

That looks just about the same as the tony shroud on my condor, i like they way they look but now my rifle looks like a swat rifle 😆 . My condor is now a little over 48 inches from end to end. 😯
