Expectations

That does seem a touch slow. Factory specs. of 950fps haven’t been seen by my stock version….could get there with some “fiddling”. Real world speeds are more like 920fps, which is only 32fps short of where you are.

Few questions.

You mention that speeds are lower when you dail it down…can I assume they don’t get any higher when you dial it up from your current setting?

try other pellets. Fit is more important than just weight. have tested sevral 14.1-14.4 gr. pellets of various makes, finding as much as 30fps difference between them. Too tight wastes vel. though friction…too loose wastes air by leakage.

Does the gun leak a bit of air from the bolt? there are two o-rings in the bolt, when the bolt is closed one is on the barrel and one is over the tap hat. IF they leak, the gun is loud and loses a bit of power…in mine, lost about 20 fps.

When you do shoot from that fill pressue, does the vel. start off at 880’s? Is there a short rise to top speed, or does it start out shooting fast and eventually drop off in speed?
