Look into a good hand pump like the Hil or Axsor.

The same SCUBA shop that fills your tank can get it hydro tested. IIRC it has to be done every five years, the tank is good as long as it passes. I’ve used tanks from WWII, they still work fine.

You should ask the shop about used tanks, they typically have them or know where you can get one at a good price (they want your tank fill business).

Good luck. The effort is well worth it……

Sorry, for Co2 you can fill the Co2 tank like normally, but HPA requires an adaptor…

i was thinking co2 for most shooting and hpa for small game. i have acess to a hpa scuba pump during the summer and was thinking paintball shop the rest of the year. well i just ordered the adaptors. anyone know if i can get an older scuba tank hydroed, i cant remember if there is a time requirement.

Dude, It cannot be filled w/o the adapter, anyway, if you filled from a shop, you would have to refill every 25 shots….No fun in that…
