Q:

more power for .25

HI, I just recieved my Condor with 24″ barrel from Airhog and must admit their service is top notch. I also ordered a heavy hammer from TT and he to was a very awesome person to deal with.
I installed the heavy hammer in hopes to obtain the same velocity that Jerry is getting with his heavy 57.6 grain 6 ring slugs, his testing showed a 922.1 fps with his gun while mine is at 826 fps, i know that its only 100fps slower but what other mods can i do to get a little more of the ooomph that Jerry’s got? and with the mods that you folksmayl recommend can you please tell me “if any” where i can obtain some of the aftermarket parts that may be mentioned. thanks bro’s

You can detune from your highest setting around 70fps.

First of all thanks to those who are helping me out. With a TH adjustment how much of an FPS can one normaly obtain? thanks

I’m not sure when the high flow tank came out, but I think around a year ago.

I hope i have a high flow tank! My .25 did not come with a tank “as I requested”, i used the tank from my .22 condor that i got from pyramid. Is there any special markings that will tell me what tank i have? i ordered an extra from them and am not sure which one i got.

Are you sure you have a high flow tank, maybe you should ask Air hog

Go up some more.

The gun we did the comparison tests with was not a Condor but a Barnes .25. That said, Tofazfou has a Condor he tuned that is getting the same power and maybe a touch more (he has recorded over 118 FPE with the 7 rings). Maybe he’ll share a secret or two?

the last time i checked my TH it was set from the factory at .080, should i go up or down to increase the FPS. thanks

Do you have a chrony? You can sometimes gain more power by turning th. to its optimal setting, what size hammer did you get? I think you should get better numbers with your set up, try setting your th. .070 to .080
