What is the thread size on the Crosman 88 gram cylinder?

Does anyone know the true thread size on the Crosman AirSource 88 gram CO2 cylinders? It appears to be a metric thread, but my calipers read 15.3mm dia. x 1.8mm between thread peaks. I’m thinking it might be a sloppy M16x2. Anybody know for sure before I take one down to the local industrial supply and try threading dies until one fits??

it is M16 x 1.5. Just remember they have a little recess in the front face for an oring . It is an standard paintball tank oring

its a 1.5 thread for sure ,, but m16 i think . they are very a little weird , but should work . assuming mine is the same as you tank …….
