pcp (condor) info

folks, i am new to pcp shooting could somebody explain to me what
(Using a frame extension and cap you can take the noise down)
means in reference to taming to bark of a condor.

You either buy or make a tube that slides into the end of the frame making it look like the gun has a really long frame with an end cap to finish it off. You can either stick with that and it will work the same as the Talon SS (ie a barrel inside a large semi enclosed space with only the small hole in the end cap for the pellet and air to escape from) which will reduce the report somewhat or you can “baffle” the inside which breaks the interior space into several spaces which reduces the report even further.

There are several ways to baffle a shroud/frame – Springs and Washers, Washers and tube and solid cores with holes cut in them.
