arrow mod. finally tuned and ready for action!
Im going to attempt to post a pic of my condor mod. that shoots 2512 arrows. Thanks to Tony for the heavy hammer and spring and voltar and others for all your insights and advice. I recently killed a pig with it. Ill try and post a pig pic in the hunting section soon.

This is a three arrow group shot offhanded at 25yards.

I live in Florida so now you got me thinking gator on a string…with gun near by of course 😉
so with the arrow shooting over the barrel it would be possible to use a fish arrow set up , a small ring slides over shaft and catches an anchor point or clamp just befor fletches so you can hook up your string that would be nice to take out to the carp waters with the guys
something different would be sweet
dang that’s nice!! Now you got me wanting one of these. Will a .25 barrel work with these? What do I have to get for the frame or to fit over the barrel to make it shoot arrows? Is there a post describing how to make a Condor shoot arrows?
That is some sick shit guys…Now you got me wanting to skewer a squirrel…On film….for the world to see…
It is kind of loud but at 400fps it really doesnt matter 😆
Great job Tag!!
man I better go check what mine will do and see if I can reach that 400…
I found I had to really dry off my Airrows each time and use two target backers as those short fast little airrows would fly right through. i use those foam target stops with the replaceable center. damp shafts and whisk right on through!!!
yup gonna have to give it another go!!!
Walter…
Yes one of the arrows is missing fletching. All the arrows in the picture had to be tapped out from the back side of the target in order to get a picture. It sinks um up deep, very hard on the fletching.
Like voltar’s set up the arrow slips over the air tube and I turn the arrow clockwise as the fletching enters the shroud. It does’nt affect accuracy and even keeps the arrow from falling off the air tube when pointing down. The fastest Ive shot is 485fps off a 3000+psi fill with the tophat screwed all the way out and the bolt knob screwed down snug so no air is lost ( the extended tophat will not allow the bolt to be locked down the normal way) My best tune after a LOT of experimenting is a 2900+psi fill with the tophat all the way out and the back in one full turn, and the bolt knob snuged down like before. That gives me 5 shots above 400fps then it drops pretty fast thru the 300s. It shoots very flat out to 40yrds until the low 300s.

That is exactly how this works. As described on the TOG a mere 2 yrs ago
IIRC.
Use 2215 arrows that slip over a 5/16″ od tubing. The air blast pushes on the head of the airrow until it clears the tube.
mine does 350 fps with 345 grain Airrows. You get two Airrows out of each 2215 you buy. Fletch and point them and away we go!!!!!
Walter…
That is what it looks like to me as well…. Great idea!!!
i think that the arrow slips over the barrel, witch is a great idea, that has to be real accurate because you do not have to deal with arrow flex when you shot and the arrow head weights should not be so crittical
The bore doesnt look big enough to allow the fletching to go in or come out.. what is the id of the bore and the od of the bolts? thanks!
nice work!
I think thats why on the Airbolt conversion that they used a type of tassle instead of fletching. Maybe you could kind of spin the shaft as you load it so the fletches fold around the tube?
WOW…THAT IS SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!
Do I see one with no fletching?

nice work!
That is pretty dam slick if you ask me.
nice job, any chance we can see the internals?
