RWS Superdome ACTUAL ballistic coefficient?
Does anybody know the REAL ballistic coefficient of .22 RWS Superdomes? Chairgun lists it as .011 or .014,(can’t remember which off the top of my head,) which seems low to me, given similar designs have much higher BCs. When I look around the internet, I see the BC listed as .016, .025, and even .030, along with what Chairgun says. So, I am a bit perplexed. Can anyone tell me where I can get a DIFINITIVE answer as to what the actual BC is of these pellets? My gun groups them well, and I would like to use them for longer range shots (40 yards plus), but I want to make sure they have the BC to carry energy that far.

Just looking at it and comparing it to other similar domes, I think it’s 0.025. They work great and squirrels hate ’em.
Shoot a bunny at 40 yards then and see what it does… 😕
A shot to the head only needs a few fpe to do the job, or are you wanting to see them explode!!!!! 😉
I think he wants to know how well they’ll kill at longer ranges, not how accurate they’ll be.

Thanks for the responses guys. Lang was correct when he mentioned them for hunting at 40 plus yards. It’s not the 40, so much as the plus, that I am concerned about, and I am probably over analyzing things a bit. I really just want to know what to punch into Chairgun, so I can get the most accurate data possible when dialing in my scope. If it drops off a lot beyond a given distance, I just want to know, so I can have accurate holdover.
