HPA .25 HATES Cold Weather?
I have a HPA powered .25 caliber Talon SS w/ a bushy legend 5-15 (Thanks Don for the .25 barrel) and today I found my gun would not group. I was totally perplexed, so I tightened everything, lubed o-rings and filled the bottle…WTF.. same fliers etc.. So, I tried numerous things and put about 100 pellets through it and it still wouldn’t group. I decided to take a break. At this time the temp was maybe 34 degrees….
A couple of hours later, I walk out to my shooting area and begin to shoot both kodiaks and euinjins, they are shooting great! Now the temp is 45+ degrees and the gun is performing at its finest, I refill and shoot a few more rounds and the gun continues to shoot well until my pellet supply is eliminated…..
Any ideas what’s going on? My suspicion is that the valve is the problem. When I received the gun, the bluing on the valve was poor and it had a burr on the valve body preventing it from properly screwing into the gun, which I carefully filed off, so I suspect it may have internal imperfections too.
Any help Is appreciated!

I’m going to try putting on some moly and then wiping it off; moly leaves a thin coat of itself on things making them slick, so I think it should work…
