hand pump issues
Help,wtf after i used the new air pump form AF that I purchased after 4-5 times it wont work ,pump will not pump above 2000psi…anyone have any suggestion,what the hell good is a high pressure tank,if the damn pump dont work..sorry end of rant!

Send it in for a warranty replacement, sell the new one you get, and buy a new Hill pump.
I had a leak in mine so I’d pressurise it and stick it in water to see where it was leaking, I never put the gauge under though, thought it would probably screw it up, I’d send it back if it is not just easily fixible.
Have been using an old FX pump for years (the old model with the odd brass “adjuster” on the handle). Still works fine (knock on wood).
Have had a Hill pump for about a year…it’s getting taken apart again tomorrow to get it working right (yet again).
That does not inspire confidence.
On the bright side, tanking apart a Hill is way-easy in comparison to other pumps. On the negative side (at least in my case), you’ll need to take it apart (or deal with sending it in).
My AF pump is over 3 yrs old and still going strong. Guess I’m just lucky???? 🙄
What the hell is it with you guys blowing out all these AF pumps? Whiskey Tango Foxtrot? 😆

re FX vs Hill

Best advice (and you’re not going to like it) get a Hill or FX. I’ve had both… the Hill gave me excellent service for several years and I sold it in good faith. I now have the FX 4 stage pump and so far, it’s served me well.
I have had a couple of the Ultraglide pumps and I’d probably fill a gun better by sticking a hose up my ass and FARTING air into the tank than to use the Ultraglide pump.
Rob how would you compare/rate the Hill to the Fx?
