Air Hog CF bottle holder or stand ???
I have one of the large carbon fiber bottles from Air Hog and am looking for ideas for some kind of a stand to keep it from rolling around in the back of my Jeep.
I would hate to knock the valve off of this thing in transit and want to take it along on trips far into the backwoods. Any ideas for something I could make to hold it in place and keep it from rolling around ??? TIA 😀

I am a proud owner of a Condor and I also scuba dive, when I go diving I put my tanks in these holders my friend made for me.
You could make a single holder out of a 2 x 6 using a saber saw, get some eye bolts and bungee cords.
Next time you go to the dive shop for a fill you could pick up a tank mesh to protect the tank , don’t know if they make a tank boot for that size tank you have.

I don,t have a cf tank, but I do own an older cj-7.
I would giant hose clamp with padding to the roll bar up on the rear wheel well, not sure how the newer jeeps are set up with the roll bar though.
Or get one of those threaded insert tools, very handy.
I have one, in my cargo van I installed some inserts in the floor so I can bolt down my electric skeet thrower to the floor and launch out the back doors.
You could do much the same on top of a fender well an make some straps up and bolt her down. Jeeps do not have very much room so I would get it up off the cargo floor.

I have a 44cu ft. bottle, and I just aquired a couple carbon tubes that fit around it. Im going to cut one to length, and affix this tube to my spare-tire inside the Jeep (cherokee). The bottom of the tube will be filled with spongy foam, and the bottle wont have enough room to even wiggle once in place. A strap or 2 over the top will keep everything nice and snug, I could theoretically roll the vehicle and the bottle wouldnt move.
Making a 2nd one for my shooting room. Once I get this setup done, Ill post pics.
We are making a lot of large diameter tubes these days, and getting scrap upto 10″ inner diameter isnt very hard.
