dimensions for barrel bushings wanted
Hi guys, need the dimensions for the airforce barrel bushings for a project; can take my talon apart but it’s such a tackdriver now that i prefer not to…
Does anybody have ID, OD, and width for me?
or perhaps even a technical drawing?

I would use a lathe personally you can get them from air force for cheep
The bushings I have (for a 12″ barrel) have an OD of 1.002 and an ID of .481. they are .499 tall.
Lathe.
I guess you could find drill bits to the size you want, but doing them in a lathe is better IMHO. 🙂
DO YOU USE A DRILL BIT (WHAT SIZE) FOR THE “ID” OR A BORING TOOL/LATHE?

I always try to turn them between 25,6 and 26,65mm They wil have a pretty tight fit thay way.

ID will varry a little depending on the barrel being installed but in general .630 is what most of the factory barrels are (except the 12″ ones)
OD, 1.008-1.010; there is some variance of the ID of the frames from gun to gun so best fit would be by measuring your specific frame.
