silencer for the 12" barrell???
What are the options? I know afew on here have bigger barrels and then slip on silencers/shrouds but what’s out there for the stock 12″ barrell? I need one that screws off like the bean can silencer but getting everything lined up will be abit tricky. I was thinking of a custom adaptor that I could screw into the existing thread (that the bean can silencer scres into) and then part of the adaptor slipped over the barrel and on the other end It poked out of the rifle an inch or two so I could just grub screw a silencer onto the end and then everything should line up sweet 😉
Anyone made anything similar or tried this? All Ideas and pics welcome 😉

The only problem I see with the adaptor is, it could be classified as a silencer! The moderators that are designed for talons and condors are not readily adapted or used on a real firearm. You get caught somewhere with something screwed on with 1/2 threads on it you could be in a world of trouble.
Spend a little dough and get one that is made for airforce pellet guns and I believe you are o.k., I would hope !!!

Quiet enough for my needs? If the only thing I hear when I pull the trigger Is the hammer hitting the breech then that will be silenced enough for my needs 8)
well, i suppose it would make a bit of a difference with baffles
if you decide to try out the silencer in a tube thing, try it without baffles first and see if it’s quiet enough for your needs
Thats the beauty with these rifles. So easy to try things out without massive dismantlings and wot not… 😀
Thanks Bart. That set up looks sweet. I like the weirach silencer matching size with the frame. Iv’e heard alot about that silencer too and how good It Is so will look Into that. Just waiting on a member to get back to me with some pics of his adaptors and see how they work and then decide which route I’m going. What about putting some baffles In the “large first chamber” too?? Like In thr quick referance section, Spring, few o rings and washers. Would that make much difference when you have the weirach silencer on?

it’s just a basic type adapter, you could have the back turned in a type of air stripping shape to increase performance
not that you need it, the weihrauch silencer on front makes it quiet enough (it’s just hammer strike you hear)
oh yeah, the weihrauch silencer is mounted in a tube with the same OD as the frame
edit: about the large first chamber, the room between the end of the barrel and the adapter serves as a very big chamber
What about getting some baffles made up for the bean can silencer. Would this make a real difference or Is It best upgrading to a better silencer?
Super large first chamber? Care to explain better?? Have you got any pics of that adaptor? Reason I thought of slipping It over the barrel was to get It lined up correctly all the time and I could still unscrew It using the thread the bean can silencer screws Into. I take my bean can silencer off the rifle alot and It lines up well but If It’s not lined up that’s a shot missed and I heard getting everything lined up Is hard with adding a silencer on.
I have an adapter that slips into the frame like an endcap, with 1/2″ unf threads on the end.
Works like a charm and is really really really quiet.
You have to be careful to get it all lined up perfectly though, mine worked from the first time but it could go wrong.
Why slip something over the barrel when you can have a super large first chamber? 😉
