Q:

New Flashlights (some Picks.)

I just received 2 new flashlights in the mail today. One is a Fenix TK11 R2, (on left) and the other is a Raidfire Spear (on right) The beam shots are of booth on low first then high and the last is just the Raidfire without bezel.

Now for some reason the TK11 looks brighter on high but the picture does no justice of it’s true power.

Booth flashlights are powered by a single 18650 3.7V 2600mAh Li-ion Tenergy battery.

Side by side

Low beam

High beam

No bezel

Thanks,
But I’m still wondering why if it was so hot, why they dropped production. The company said that it cost too much to produce. They could have simply gone up slightly on the price!

So what the heck happened to the Spear.? Seems like as soon as it became avaliable, it was no longer made! ๐Ÿ˜ก

It’s still available.

It might not be a perfect clone but they do look close thatโ€™s my opinion

Yeah… with them being made from aluminum and having that shiny silver bit with a transparent cover at one end and a switch the other.

๐Ÿ˜† Opinions are like assholes: Everyone has one, and they all stink. ๐Ÿ˜†

Now it looks like you are stuck at 104.

I donโ€™t know maybe the forum hasnโ€™t caught up with my posts yet but by my count this should be number 100 so I know qualify for the give away contest

Selphb it looks like your posts are staying at 98, whats up with that.

Man it sure looks like a sufire clone

Unless it’s archived, I do not see anything like it on SureFires website. ๐Ÿ˜› ๐Ÿ˜†

I just ordered more Flash Lights.
One Zebra H60 head lamp
Operates off from 1 18650 lipo batt.
It has 3 light modes
low 0.5 lm.
med 45 lm.
High 190 lm.
If you need a head lamp I would recommend this one.
come with a belt clip, head band with holder and a glow in dark holder.

Nice lights. I just bought a couple 3 watt lights off ebay. They use the same luxeon/cree 3 watt leds, except mine does not offer the option of different intensity levels. Mine is regulated, though, so appears to have the same controls, just without the option for different brightness. I haven’t used mine long enough to know how long the AA batts last, but I think 2 hours only, brightness is about 180 lumens measured by eye. My other lights were 100 lumens and lasted about 4 hours on a pair of AAs. But I use mine only to walk to and from the hunting areas, so 2 hours of burn time is fine for me and I don’t really need different levels, although it would be nice for camping when you have to conserve batteries. Mine cost $23 each, I think, was $28 each after shipping.

aloha,
walt
