hand pump choice?
which pump is a better one from pyramid? the airforce or the axsor 3 stage? i bought a tss/condor
i wanna order from pryamid because i am going to be ordering a co2 adapter and pellets also so i figure if i go with them i can save on shipping

where do you get the FX 4 stage?
Managed to rebuild the china made pump, but it never did work real well above 2500PSI but i still working to fill my brother’s Discovery.
The old FX (either the very first model offered, or the second) has never been a bit of trouble.
Hill should have been a good pump, but it needs a rebuild after about a year of use.
Had an UltraGlide for about an hour….that’s all it took to decide to send it back.
I’f the Hill gets it’s rebuild and still acts up, will be buying another FX (check the Canadian airgun dealers).
If you have the chance to get an FX 4 stage, I’d have to say go for it. I’ve had a Hill, Logun, and FX 4 stage and while the Hill served me well…as did the Logun… the FX 4 stage is the cats ass… very efficient and easy to operate.
The Ultraglide…. Apparently, I am not as smart as you. It took me about 3 days to send mine back. Worked EXCELLENT when it worked.. but it was about as reliable as a 90 year old mans bowel movement.
Hill pump is my vote, followed by FX.

Do not get the AF pump…I am sending mine back to Pyramid as we speak..I’ve had it less than 2 wks and it is shot……Get a Hill pump…I got mine today and there is a world of difference….You need the 1/4″ to 1/8″ adapter fitting and the AF filler adapter to use the Hill pump….

Saving on shipping very well may cost you more in the long run.
While I’ve never heard ‘bad’ things about the Logun/Axsor pump, I’ve heard plenty on the AF pump.
I have had a logun pump/ Hill pump/ and now an FX 4 stage pump. I only have the FX now and it does fine, but the Hill lasted a long time. I dont know how the longevity is on the Logun, but I do know I had mine for a couple years, problem free… FWIW

I got mine from Airguns of Arizona. They dont have it listed on their site far as I know…but it is in stock. Call and talk to Greg or Robert… IIRC, it’s a touch cheaper than a Hill…. I think around $250
