Shot pellet pics – shows rifling
Just recovered some pellets from golf course fairway. They were shot into the snow at a low angle and are not deformed.
Rifling marks can be seen on dome and skirt.
I believe they are JSB Exact Heavys .22 15.9gr

I’ve seen similar results shooting CP’s & EJ’s in 22 cal. These Lothar barrels really get the pellets to bite into the rifling for good accuracy. The rifleing marks are always pretty deep.

Just curious, I have a Nikon 105 they are insane !!!
I am amazed how little depth of field there is on the macros.

I am currently having a run of air rifle 308 barrels done by lothar walther a lot of people don’t relies air rifle barrels don’t use the same style or depth of rifling as standard guns
