Q:

Promises, promises…

I’ve finished several mods to my Condor and though it about time to post some pics; ya know, the pics I’ve been promising for the past two weeks or so now to several members of our little community… So, without further ado, here they are.

Firstly, Frame and Barrel Bushing Venting:

—Frame venting—

—12″ Barrel Bushing Venting—

—22″ Barrel Bushing Venting—

Secondly, my new Tony Shroud (THX again, Tony! I absolutely love it.):

—Shroud on Condor—

—Shroud next to Condor—

—Shroud Baffle—

Thirdly, Condor Trigger Modification (Thx Ross!!):

—Plucked Bird—

—Putting it back together—

—Completed Mod—

Lastly, a general WB shot…

Apologies to Adam for forgetting to take a pic of the full bird w/ WokButt! (I’ll get on that tonight…)

Also, um… So does work like this mean I can get out of the ‘noobe cellar’ and can start playing with the bigger kids? I mean, it’s not like I’m asking for the keys to the executive washroom or anything… 😉

Again, thx to all who have helped by
a) selling me toys,
b) providing direction via pmsg, and
c) posting ‘how to’ information out on Sticky.

All of your assistance was/is much appreciated!!!

Comments (yes, to include gibes…) are welcome. 😀

I know what you mean! They are getting really whaco down there. It’s turning into Cali Wierd!!!

My shop is just out side of Austin in Creedmoor TX a bought 1 mile out side of Austin the city council was a lot easer to work with then Austin for the gun shop Austin makes to big of a deal when they find out there is going to be painting going on at any business the tree huggers come out in full force

That makes sense!

Hey Sel! You in Austin? 😀

I’m up in Killeen. Getting ready for the Texas Knife Collectors and Makers Show in Round Rock next month. I’m sure you know mo old friends the McBrides down in Austin.

It looks like the only thing you are missing is one of my custom knobs

The hole in the first baffle in Tony’s Shroud looks BIG! Or is that just
the pic.? Or How big Is It!

Oh, its BIG knifemaker! No doubt there… Actually, unless I’m wrong, I believe
the barrel end fits through that first baffle to help stabilize the shroud and
guaranty its on straight. Again, that’s a guess, given that I have to insert the
barrel through something inside the shroud in order to get it on and that hole
is closest to the shroud sleeve…

As for how well it works, Tony definitely knows his business. My police officer
neighbor shot it Sunday with and without the shroud and was sufficiently
‘wowed’ by the difference. 😀

Awesome!!! Good work. 😀

Thanks for the pix! Nice job. 😀
I still haven’t had the nerve to do the trigger mod yet.

Is she nice and quiet now?

I know your tack!!

My condor is my 40th birthday present to… ME!! Hahahaha… My wife doesn’t
access the safes, so she’s (thankfully) oblivious to my ‘toys’. Oh, she knows
they’re there (and takes solace in that fact), but has/shows no interest in them.

Its a rather symbiotic relationship. 😀

Happy anniversary, btw! The wife and I will hit our tenth this October – just in
time for me to buy another toy. I’m hoping that Argentinian tank angle is ready
for sale by then… 😉 Fingers crossed.

nice lookin gun,
i hope to join you in exiting the newbie lounge,
