Something interesting I found- .22 lethality test
I found this yesterday poking around the internet. I don’t know if anyone’s seen it, apologies if it’s old news.

Summary is a guy was shooting a turkey wrapped in clothes at 250 yds and got total in the front out the back penetration at 250 yds. Interesting bit is his ammo is quoted at a 40 gr bullet at 1050fps. This is well within condor power, correct? So theoretically a condor should be able to do the same thing? I found the possibilites interesting, at the least it’s one more reminder how powerful simple air is.

Well, don’t know how true it is but, i too shoot SUBSONIC 40gr 1050 FPS HP’s in my RUGER 10/22 rimfire and they are awesome. But they are BULLETS AND NOT PELLETS.
Now, everyone stop drooling over your condors doing this because for one, the rimfire bullets are boat tailed and retain waaaaaay more velocity than any of the skirted pellets can do. That is what makes me laugh when everyone compares the Airguns to rimfires. OK, AT THE MUZZLE, A CONDOR CAN MAKE OVER 100 FPE BUT AT DISTANCE IT DOESN’T. ITS IN THE BULLET DESIGN. Pellets sucks as far as retained energy, bullets are made for that. So a 40 gr solid point rifle bullet i can see doing that. A 28 or 32 grain .22 cal EUN JIN i cannot. The pellet would be stuck in the 1st layer of clothing.
Just my 02 cents.
Not “stock” or OEM power. I’m sure there’s a few Mad Scientists out there who have tweaked their Condors to do those kind of numbers, but that’d require a lot of tweaking, especially with 40grs out to 250 yds.
