can a talon ss be modded if it hasnt got a pw
hi all 1st post
looking forward to buying my first talon ss/gunpower shadow as i live in the uk,but it dosen`t have a pw just wondering could i still mod it

As ACFguy says…however i do understand the new Gunpower range In the UK is now tamperproof but as yet not confirmed.
Thank you all, you are very helpfull but i do not believe anything is tamperproof if there`s a will there is a way.

Or change the valve, Spring power, Type of stem, Blah, Blah…. So yes.
The power wheel is just a pre tensioner for the spring.If you want to get the same effect as the PW just add a spacer/spacers at the muzzle end of the spring.This will probably put your rifle over the legal UK limit,to counteract this you will need to screw in the top hat and chrono until your required fpe is achieved.

You can get past tamper proofing,but if you have a new gun it will invalidate any warranty.Eg:On the Rapid range a cap is glued over the power screw,on Daystates a cap is glued over the safety assembly.
All you do is apply heat to soften the adhesive and remove the offending part.The factory then knows that you have been playing.
Have not yet seen a tamperproof Stealth. 😆
