question for the leapers owners out there
I received the new glass today, a Leapers Accushot 3-12x44AO SWAT Scope, Illuminated Mil-Dot Reticle, 1/8 MOA, 30mm Tube, and so on, and on…
pretty nice scope, fairly clear on 12, nice mill dot set up, impressive lighted reticle it dose not blind you with light, in fact it could of had a brighter setting for the shady shots and still made me happy, but enough of all that and on with my question, when you mount the scope and adjust for the reticule to be plum and level shouldn’t the turrets be the same? when I did this the side wheel is canted up and as you could figure the elevation and the windage are are following it around to the right. is this par for these or did I get one that slip[ed through QC? let me know what you think, personally I don’t like it that way and think the scope should sit level on the gun

There’s a reason leapers goes so well with airforce guns, QC is kinda wacky. 😛
I like mine. Never really payed attention to whether the turrets are level or not. If I were you, I would just shoot and make sure it works. Maybe try little things like adjustment tests to check repeatability.
Basically make sure the scope works. If everything works fine, and the slightly off stuff doesn’t bother you, keep it.
Does leapers still have that lifetime warranty? 15 bucks gets you a new scope? That was always nice.
