Its the multishot pump in the same style as the dominator.
Used from a retailer and I have 30 days to return it.
Good deal or stay away?

Managed to get the probe removed (2 piece’s… unscrew’s.. duh).
The barrel shroud has rust, then the previous owner painted over it – Not much surface prep (if any) so it flaked and then rusted some more

Right now it’s sitting in the basement with both ends taped up with a coating of water soluble paint stripper on the outside.
Wow is that a nice rifle, especially for the money. Can’t wait to hear how it shoots.
I’m trying to finish stripping the rifle and cannot get the receiver which is in two parts – top and bottom separated.
I have removed two screws at the front between barrel and the gauge, one screw from where the magazine goes and there is a hole in the top of the receiver which I assume is to give access to a bolt but its blocked by the probe – I cannot remove the probe to gain access to it.
I tried joining the FXOC but they haven’t approved my membership yet.
Thanks – Site is down right now but I’ll try back later.
Here are some pictures of the FX

Basically anything that can rust – Has some surface rust. I’ll need to replace several Allen screws which is easy enough, clean up the external tube that makes up part of the pump action and repaint the shroud.
I also want to check on the magazine index which might be bent as I’m not sure if its supposed to look the way it does or it might be a worn magazine as the probe catches on the magazine when you push the pump action forward to seat the pellet, that problem goes away with ever so slight pressure on the top of the mag.
Also needs two new Delrin bearings on the pump mechanism – They both work fine, but the front one has a nick in it so I may as well be thorough about it.
If I’m going to be ordering spares then I may as well also get a new safety lever which is missing and if I’m seeing it right seems to be just a rod with likely some kind of finger friendly nubbin on the top.
Can anyone with an FX let me know if that valve should be screwed into the receiver more than that? The reservoir easily unscrews from the valve, which is to be expected without any pressure – But its obviously designed to unscrew from the receiver as the cylinder’s are removable while pressurized.

I would sell this but I would not sell it for $40.00 !!!!!
Thats a great deal !!!!
I have a tempest .177 cal don’t care for it much, weak
Ah, got it, cool looking pistol…
Looking forward to photos of the rifle…
Barrel tilts forward – pivot is at the muzzle end and the breech end is wide open for loading.
😯 Is that a break barrel pistol…?
How the hell do you load it!! 😕
Here’s the Pistol, damn good condition and shoots well – Not my type of pistol though – If I cant scope it I cant shoot em basically.

The FX is not in as good a condition as the tempest, but I decided to give it a try as it certainly isn’t beat up – Only came with 1 Magazine and no fill adapter so I’m going to have to find one of those before I can test it out – I do have some work to do, lubing, rust removal and refinish on the shroud – Couldn’t say no for $450 and the chance to return it if there’s anything mechanically not right with it.
Thanks for the advice JFK and Cygnusx!
There’s signs of use, nothing major cosmetically. Unknown operation because they cannot test, which is why they give me 30 days to try out.
I’m def getting a webley tempest they have for $40 !
I have a Dominator and it is a fantastic rifle. You can’t go wrong with that Ultimate for $450, sounds like a great deal. Is anything wrong with it?

This is taking much longer than it needs because I dont have much time between work and school but I got the fill probe from JFK today and the gun has a very small leak – filling the reservoir allowed me to unscrew the entire reservoir from the gun instead of the tube unscrewing from the valve. Now thats off I just need to wait for all the air to leak and then I’ll put in new o-rings.
Barrel has 2 coats of paint, just need to buy some clearcoat.
