I went to the range today, friends brought 3 Condor(.22)s
along and I gotta tell ya, I was IMPRESSED!!! 😀
Two had Air Hog Shrouds and one had a Get The Blue Jay Shroud. Air Hot Shroud was slightly quieter and I do mean “slightly”, not enough to make any real world differences in the field.
I normally shoot with high mag Nikko Stirling 10 – 50 x 60 scopes set at 50X with guns having triggers down to 2.5oz so shooting at relatively low magnification with stock triggers was a change but I was still able to print about a 1/2″ group at 25yards. I was sold!

My Airhog Condor .22 is extremely accurate, more than my Talon Tunes .25 or the Lemak or any other gun I possess. One rugged hole at 25yds and I can get all 5 pellets touching or better at 30yds. I don’t know what Airhog does to them, but they did tell me that they test them and “tune” them for accuracy before shipping them out. They have also been known to swap out the hammer/striker for their own. They did say me that they take them down and clean them or polish parts that may improve accuracy.
No, I was shootin, at 30 yards, I like to try and keep alittle red-neck in me, so in that case I was shootin! I didn’t do as good today, but here is a little info. on co2, .25, 17gr. were going 770’s, and the 24gr. were going 680’s, at 81-82 degrees.

Thanks for the information Tony, it’s always good to get comparisons and I have been very curious about that and so have other people asking me about it. It did get me wondering if the ones that are air hog equipped are running vented bushings?
The Talon(.20) with 24″ HW barrel that I gave my niece had an Air Hog Shroud but was Tony tuned, not sure on the bushing being vented.
As far as I know, if buying a Air Force gun direct from Air Hog, they don’t vent the front bushing, they do prep the guns for accuracy, test the guns so that they aren’t throwing flyers and will polish, adjust and recrown accordingly till its a shooter or start prepping another gun for testing and shipment to a customer…
The Condor I shot yesterday with Air Hog Shroud was a stock gun other than the shroud, it was near perfect, in my world, the trigger would be tuned like my gun, down to 10oz. and a much larger magnification scope…that said, it was still an awesome hunting rig!!!
Edit: Forgot to add, I’m very impressed at the “denoisifying properties” of your shroud given the smaller diameter! Also REALLY like how the shroud extends as far into the receiver as it does, talking about a solid attachment that isn’t gonna shift if bumped, shy of bending the shroud, barrel and/or frame!

I was shootin 3/8th in. circles, these guns are good, its a Tony .25 barrel.
With my Talon SS, is shot these 5 shot groups as fast as I could cock, load, acquire target and fire…using a 21x scope, this gun loves 16gr. Exacts:

Well, I got 4 out of 5 bullseyes at 30 yards today, but that was at 24 magnifacation, and after many shots to get scoped in, the one I missed went directly to the right, and it was windy, plus I was shootin pointed pellets.
Ahhhh…Cool…..Condor…Big Power…argh..argh…argh!
I have a Tony tuned Talon SS(.22):
And sold a Talon SS(.177) and gave my niece my Tony Tuned Talon(.20) with 24″ HW Barrel…
Never had a Condor but one is on its way!!! 😀 And a second may be in order! 😯

Airhog accuracy tests every gun at 25 yards before they go out the door to a customer after doing their prep work to the rifle which includes polishing, lubing, etc. If the gun won’t group a solid group without flyers, it gets more scrutiny and work done to it.
They will go to the extent of polishing/lapping the barrel, recrowning and opening the lead in if I remember right…
I know they can do one more thing to improve accuracy but am not at liberty to discuss as I’m just a customer.
