Ahh well I guess it was a stupid question.

Now, aren’t you glad we got that settled CondorHunter??? 🙂
Good thing you brought it up again! 😉
Hi Cadeau,
Thanks for the info on the EunJIn’s 28.4 gr, especially since it is good in your condor at # 6 power. I like keeping it around 6 for the power and the amount of shots I get while out hunting.
Regards,
CH
Don’t forset about the EunJin 28.4 gr, domed pellets either. Great pellet! Extremly deadly on pw6.
Thank’s again,
CH
Sorry it took so long. I agree, and you are welcome….Anytime….
Thank’s to everyone for your help, I got all the info I was looking for, and will order some sam yangs now. I love the condor with all the different power levels, choice of pellets, and most of all this web site is a very valuable volume of experience and helpful people.
Thank’s again,
CH
The 32gr will probably be in the high 800’s. It is really
hard to estimate with out testing….Remember, even though
the fps will be lower on the 32gr, the fpe will be higher..Higher velocity
does not equal higher power when comparing 2 different weight pellets.
You can use this to calculate the fpe once you have had a
chance to shoot the 32gr if you have a chrony…
http://www.airguns.net/calculators.php
I shot Eun Jin’s at 1068fps and Kodiaks at 1132fps with PW12. If you use
that as a variable to estimate the potential fps of the 32gr
you would be estimating the 32gr to be approx 915fps…
.It will fly out of the barrel though if that was your concern……
my pw is set at 6.6 annd it shoot the eunjins 28s in the mid 900s i believe 956 i have a modded hiflo valve and custom condor weight and a 24 in bbl

CH.
There are some variables to consider condorhunter…As with every gun, certain pellets like different psi…Your PW setting directly influences the amount of psi that will be put behind the pellet…If your tank fill pressure is 500psi obviously a PW setting of 6 would do little if anything at all. A 2800psi fill will send the pellet down range but it is hard to say at what fps or accuracy…There will be a minumum psi that it will take to shoot any pellet. With high fill pressures your hammer will have a harder time opening the air valve due to the amount of pressure behind the valve. I would say that a PW of 6 would be a good starting point for any fill pressure you choose and should be plenty to shoot a 32gr pellet….
I was just trying to figure out if # 6 power setting is high enough for 32 gr sam yangs in a .22 Condor ?

CH.
Sorry, but what was the question to begin with? 😆 [/quote]
