What is the weight of the stock Condor hammer
I keep reading about ppl. who change theirs out. I know why they go to heavier hammers. Wouldn’t it be easier to use stiffer springs?

IMHO don’t know bout condor but my rws850 suffered terrible valve lock during hot summer use. Drove me nuts till found out the hammer spring was to weak to open the valve. Fix is to replace with a stronger hammer sping
Results was Makes rifle harder to cock. Takes more force pull the bolt back and allso made the trigger pulled harder. Which nither bother me. just maybe reson to use a heaver hammer no effect on cocking or trigger group.
BTW My RWS 850 is a great fun rifle i enjoy wished i got a .22 though!!!!!!!!!
