Q:

New Condor owner from Toronto, Canada….

Well soon to be owner as I just put in my order this morning. Free shipping till the end of March was what pushed me to buy it now.

Yes after a year of debating on a Condor and a 10 year hiatus from my airguns I’m back and I just blew my income tax return even before I filed my taxes. Cocky aren’t I, no pun intended.

So here’s what I ordered in one shot, again no pun intended:

– Condor .22 with clamp assem. only
– 1 extra Hi-Flo tank
– Co2 adaptor
– Airforce Hand Pump for topping up after a few shots to keep the tank psi consistant when at the rifle range
– x3 Beeman Kodiac extra heavy .22 pellets
– swivel stud clamp for my harris bipod

My next order come summer will be a 12″ .22cal barrel and a SS end cap.

If all goes smoothly I should get my order by Thursday of next week, Friday if I missed the postal worker and have to pick it up at the post office. This will just be in time as we are heading over to the in-laws next weekend and they live out in farm country on an acre of land with trees all around.

Cheers to you all and to a fantastic forum.

Yep, Detroit is the only place on earth where one can look south to Canada… I haven’t been across the bridge in a coon’s age. I miss the Windsor Ballet. And Brador. And REAL Labatts Blue and Molson. And Canadian Cigs and real Cuban cigars. I missed the casino until Detroit got three of its own. I miss Dieppe Park, and all the killer little restaurants and bars.

And did I mention the Windsor Ballet? 😉

Windsor is a fine city.

Reminds me, I gotta get a passport… I guess it’s gonna be mandatory to have one in order to cross starting in June.

do you have the condor yet and anything to report back? 😀

i am waiting for my pal to come in the mail so i can order one!

Guns aren’t crazy. Some people are.

I believe that Airguns cannot be classified as firearms due to a federal ruling, but I may be wrong?

so in the US, when exactly does a pellet gun become a firearm? I never got that

Hey neighbor….

Here in Michigan, an airgun becomes a firearm if it has a rifled barrel and shoots anything other than BBs. Anything under thirty inches long requires a permit to purchase and registration (same as a handgun) along with the attendant hoo-hah with FFL transfers and such if you’re buying from out of state.

Fortunately though, there are no outright restrictions on where you can shoot one. Pretty much relies on whether or not your neighbors get pissy enough to drop a dime on you.

Yikes.

So mant laws that make so little sense…Soon everything will be against the law….

It’s already acceptable to blatantly break the law, California passed a hands free law because the cell phone accidents were getting worse than DIUs. Well the fine is $20 and they spent 10-20 million dollars discussing the whole thing.

I guess the politicians are so brilliant with their budgeting that I just don’t understand what they are doing… 🙄 NOT!!

I see so many vehicular driving infraction in one day that if 10% were ticketed the state would have surplus $$…

We don’t need any more laws, just start enforcing the ones that are already on the books… WTF! 😀

Never.

I hope it stays that way. Although I don’t think it will.

Ping me on the Canadian Airgun Forum under randyhub as my Condor is great PS I might be able to send you some sample pellets.

But be forewarned there are a few on that Forum that just hate what this rifle will do as I take great pride in challenging the guys that say their 2000.00 airguns are it. 🙄
