Well I have been lurking for a long time talking myself into and out of getting a Airforce piece. I’ve been going back and forth between a condor and talon ss more then I care to admit. Well I finally bit the bullet and I’m glad to join the club
I am now the pround papa of a talon ss with:
24in barrel
6-24 Leapers SWAT
UTG weaver mount
Accushot med mount rings
Airforce pump
I can’t tell you how much I love this thing already, and I haven’t even strapped the 24 incher on it yet. Put a few Kodiaks through it and it’s a sledgehammer. I have mainly been shooting JSB heavies through it and its a one hole wonder at my 20yd zero.
Took me 5 shots to get it zeroed and registered two kills on the very first day outta the box. A big ol’ pigeon from 15 yards frontal chest shot. And one of my best shots ever a big red TR from about 35 yds 25 ft up right through the fuse box, smack where I had the cosses.
Beautiful gun, if you’ve been wondering if you need one, YOU DO!!! I’ll probably never touch my other three again lol

welcome aboard i am new here as well lot a great info and good people plus a fair amount of shit talk to keep it interesting kind of like a cross between romper room a very technical forum on talon modifications and Mr. rogers if he were on LSD
Thanks for the welcome. I’m really excited to see what that 24 will do, I haven’t even strapped it on the gun yet, I’ve been to busy trying to bait a big ringeye that’s been harassing my dogs, so I don’t wanna mess the beautiful zero I have on there now. I afraid I’ll instantly place a order for a shroud after put a few rounds through the 24 too lol.
I’m just dying for my chrony to get here from PA so I can start mapping this baby out and really get her dialed in.

I have a talon and talon ss, I keep the ss pretty much stock, however the talon is my mess around with gun, if you install the 24″ barrel that baby will be loud, if noise is not a problem your good to go.
If noise is a problem I would recommend you get a hold of Get the Bluejay for a shroud for it, so much nicer.
Well worth the $$$$$$$$.

i have almost the same setup the problem i have its every time i take of the 24 bbl i end up puting it back i tend too miss the power the only problem i have withe the 24 incher is the extra length and weight

Welcome to the madness.
I think you’ll find the 12″ will take care of most things for you…. but the 24″ can come in handy – so long as you (or more importantly your neighbours) dont mind the noise.
