that’s the other reason I did not want to drill my frame, for the pre-load.
Polishing the contact points was not that bad (I used a fine knife sharpening stone and then mothers polish with a dremel soft pad). All contact points looked like a mirror/knife blade.

well I did the over travel screw and I polished all contact points on the trigger/safety group (to a mirror finish). The pre-load screw I decided not to do, because my gun is still under warranty. I do not mind the travel in the first stage, it is very smooth. Once the trigger reaches the second stage it is very light and crisp. I am very gald I did what I did.

VERY worthwhile mod. Probably the single best improvement in “shootability” for AF guns.
Did both my Talon SS and Condor. Great mod if you’re up for the task.

Have done about 7 of them, 3 on my own AF guns. HIGHLY recommend at the very least do the over travel.
Did mine a while back – and absolutely love it! One caution, however: Use some
threading tightener (like a lock-tight) or you may find yourself launching pellets
upon safety disengagement! 😮 (FORE!!!)

I hate to tell you this, but you have just shot the warranty to hell, you would have to get a new trigger plate and trigger parts to have it back, might as well go for it now 😉
