Best 22LR Ammo for Target Shooting fo a 10/22
I am looking to purchase some bulk ammo for my new rifle and was wondering what experiences people have had with various ammunition makers…
I will have a 10/22 USST and will be shooting bench rest out to 100-150 yards.

You are going to have to just buy small amounts of many different bullets. Your gun will love some and hate others. Even the expensive Elley stuff isnt guaranteed to be the best in your gun. I had El Cheapo Remingtons shooting just as good as all the Elley stuff I had tried. When you find what your gun likes, buy a ton of it.
There are few types of Elley ammo out there. One of them will be super accurate, guaranteed.
+1 for the remm, something like 15 bucks a brick at big 5, it’s all I buy
Never shot those ranges but the Rem. standard velocity target ammo has always been really accurate in my rifle.

I agree with both Ambush & Shadoh…
My 10/22 shot brilliantly with CCI Subsonic. It also shot well with Elley and RWS. Though, with a much bigger pinch to my wallet.
The common denominator with all my revolvers and rifles has been “trial and error” with ammo.
You’re really starting to get out there with a .22 @ 150 yrds.
