Get the blue jay, UNBELIEVABLE
Just received the shroud from Mr McRae,
Holy mother of God, what a piece of workmanship, and I didn’t believe anything could be so quiet, on power setting # 10 it sounds like opening a can of pepsi from the next room, unbelievable. Can’t wait to take it hunting tommorow.
Thanks Mr McRae,
Sincerly,
CH.

Thanks Helder, will do.
harry – the over all length of them are 19.5 inches for a 24 incher, and they run all the way down to the bushing so when you smack it against something they do not move, there’s not much that gets my goat like a miss out in the field because I hit the shroud on a branch or something and it’s now clipping, so I decided to eliminate that possibility.
over all length of a condor with a 24 incher and a WoK butt is about 46.5 inches.
Your Talon looks awesome! Great pics!!
Now I thought the GTBJ shrouds for 24″ barrels were 17.5″ long? Is that incorrect? The shroud on this Talon does not look that long (16″? with about 1.5″ inside the frame?).
How long is one for a Condor, and what would be the Condor’s overal lenght. I ‘m looking for a shroud for one of my .25’s which is the only one left that is not shrouded.
What I REALLY like about GTBJ’s shrouds (from the pics I ‘ve seen), is that they don’t look like an added moderator or a silen**r, which I think the Tony & Airhog shrouds (that I have) look like, when on the gun.
These shrouds look like they are part of the gun, where the other popular ones (up to now..) cover most of the diameter of the frame, like an end-cap does. You unmistakenably notice the seperation crack/line between frame and shroud, but not with the GTBJ shroud! Usually most State hunting regulations dictate that you cannot hunt with a silencing or noise reducing device. It would be very hard for a Game Warden to tell with the GTBJ shroud that you have one of these “added devices” on your gun!
Now if I can get the exact specs of a .25 shroud, and how much it would stick out of the frame, I can make my decision faster 🙂 (PS. I don’t like them too long, hehe). I think I ‘m spoiled with the Airhog shrouds that are 2.5″ shorter than the Talon Tunes ones. I tend to bang into doors and walls with a very long gun. 🙂
Feel free to use them bud.

Helder that is one sweet looking set up you have there, would you mind if I used your pics when people ask me for some?
Helder-
Sweet rig, are running a talon tunes valve/hammer ?
I have basically the same set up in .25 with a talon tank/valve and I am getting the urge for more juice !
We all know how that goes.
SAW

Shooting at 64fpe with EunJins
Curve is a bit steep but I havent set it up yet, but I will.
Helder,
That is how a Talon is suppose to look. Bad Ass
Helder22, that’s a good look’n gun indeed! How is it shooting for you?
The pictures look great! How long is your barrel and shroud?
I got the shroud as well and love it. Heres some pics of my baby. And to think I almost decided to sell her last week. Well even took these pictures for the “for sale” ad but then when I was resizing the pictures for the ad I fell in love with the rifle all over again and decided not to sell it LOL !
How many of you have had that happen to them?
All she need now it the AR grip adapter ad grip.

Dam, Jay-That makes me home sick. I grew up in the mountains of north Ala. If you have ever seen the movie Last of the Mohegans, in the opening scene, that is way it looks like. Man I miss it!
I am currently punching myself in the balls for not geting one now. But hospita bills need to get paid…ffoock me
