Q:

Well if you need a nice aftermarket bolt handle for your…

I just received my stainless bolt handle from Brad Selph (Selph Arms).

The machine work is awesome and after taking mine off (you have to remove the cover and use a small allen wrench (as a lever) to unscrew it from the breech (it’s got loktite or something on there) it really spruces up the look of my TSS. The stock rubber covered bolt handle seems really inexpensive in comparison to the rest of the gun.

I got mine in stainless steel with two rubber o-rings as a nice aesthetic feature. The bolt handle is well machined, not just a plain cylinder, it’s nicely sculpted with NO sharp edges.

Brad included a tracking number and sent it with bubble wrap and hot-sealed plastic baggie so it would endure the wildest ride the USPS has to offer. Highly recommended mod for you guys/gals.

How heavy of a hammer spring are you going to use? The stock trigger parts have a bad track record with too heavy of hammer springs. You might want to keep that in mind.

Do you have a prototype yet? Any performance numbers? Sounds interesting. 😀

I talked to Woody at LW and the barrels should be here in the next couple of weeks then ill have some time to test the new caliber. I am just wondering if people would want a 308 conversion for the air force gun what do you think? the numbers I got with my DAQ 308 with 115 grain bullets from hunters supply was around 850-875 fps with a much smaller air reservoir and valve so I believe with the much better valve & barrel and more air I believe I can get the numbers up to around 925-1000 fps we will see how the testing goes I will post the results.

I just wanted to let everyone know I will be taking orders for the knobs in the next couple of weeks the reason for the delay I moved the shop to a new location where I have much more room as soon as the electrician gets done ill be back up and going I also have some more products ill be offering the forum.

I am currently weighting for my lothar walther 308 barrels that I am having made in Germany for air rifles to arrive then I can start the testing on a 308 conversion that I will be offering for sale the conversion will include the following items

308 barrel with bushings

Blodnob big bore valve

Custom end cap

Breach

Custom knob with o rings

Custom hammer weight

Heaver hammer spring

Put a Selph bolt on my condor a few weeks back. The SS x2 o-ring model.

Thx Brad! It looks great and is a HUGE improvement over stock. 😀

Hmm, would make a nice key-chain for my Z06 🙂

I’ve had mine for a few days now. Way beyond expactation. Exceptional for what it is. My wife even said it was pretty. That’s saying something. I wanted to carry it around in my pocket instead of putting it on the gun. Nice job brad. Worth every penny. 😀

How do you actually replace a bolt handle on the Airforce airguns? Do you need to take the gun apart for that to happen?

no need to take it apart, just remove the rubber deally and unscrew the bolt handle, install new one in reverse.
