Q:

Emptying the bottle

What is the proper way to empty the bottle? I was told to place a nickle in the fill adapter and screw the bottle in. I’m alittle worried this may dammage the tophat and if this is the way its done will the rush of air be really sudden?
Thanks ,Joe

But don’t plan on using that dime in a vending machine later . . . .

Thats why I use pennies !

You can use nylon nut’s too which is seems better, but yet I still use Pennie’s!

That dime trick works like a champ.

Its my spare bottle and I would like to tune the valve according to the information I had found in the archives here. I’ve had my Talon SS for 3 years now, and now that work has slowed down some I want to start modifying it. Thanks again for making me that great LDC, love it!

no problem, what do you need to empty the tank for?

Thanks BlueJay! 😀

I use a dime in the fill adapter, just go nice and slow and all will be fine.
