polishing my storm?
Forgive my ignorence but i cant find anything on polishing parts of my storm? ie what parts to polish, how to polish and what will it do?
Im sure some non word minceing member will point out wer it is lol

Ahh yea guess I was a little off target on that one. Never heard of a gunpower storm, just had to look it up. What’s the diff between that and a tss
He is thinking about a Crosman Storm XT a 13-14 FPE Chinese springer, not a Gunpower Storm.
Do NOT tar your spring on a Talon/Condor/SS. There is also no piston seal or even a chamber that needs to be deburred.
You sure you don’t have a springer and not a Gunpower Storm?
I just lightly polished my trigger contact surface’s. Finishing polishing paste I could find and a dremel on the lowest speed. No sandpaper not matter how fine you can find.
If you don’t have that, just put a tiny bit of moly on there.
Some polish their barrel by the breech, but I think its better to not have a mirror finish in that area because the first wipe of the o-ring will move all the silicone lube away from where you want it.
when you say “trigger sear” what is that?
Well the polishing on my Storm is on the trigger sear, used toothpaste and a dremel… Very carefully I might add. As for internal stuff, nothing really to polish, just deburr the chamber so your piston seal doesn’t get nicked up, and tar the spring to take off the Twang. You will lose some power if you tar the spring though

you’re looking to do.
