O rings and Care SS Talons

I removed the tank from my Talon. And I ran a Dewy Rod .22 cal with a bore mop and some .22 Patches with some Airgin Solvent I bought from Straight Shooters. The Bore was dirty! But now it is cleaner.
My main question is … after puting a dab of Diver’s Silacone greese on the barrel with a tooth pick in front of the hammer and on the Tank Top Hat to cover the rear O ring. Those two O rings…
I can see a little black residue from the those rubber O rings on the Top Hat a bit so I am wondering if maybe it could use some fresh rubber there. ❓
Anthony .266 modified my Talon about 3 years ago or more. So cleaning and any replacing of O rings and steps to follow to just removing the barrel and ..then what? we have to remove the power valve to get to it?
Before it will all come out and then I could probably go to to my local Dive shop or paint ball shop and get the same O rings that are there?
And I have heard of guys talk about their Top Hat setting. ❓
I have no idea how to adjust that and Mr. 266 probably did that anyway.
But I would like to understand it and know how to get it where I would like or to tinker with but I don’t want to rip my face off with that 3000psi tank. 😯
I cleaned it-Charged it-Placed a dab of Silacone greese to two points on either side of my Brass Hammer that Mr.266 rebuilt for me.
And I have been meaning to clock it with the CP’s 14 grain or so with my Blue Chrony.
Any links or advice to what you guys do maintain our cool air machines?

The O-Rings are probably getting old and need replacement. Another member sent me two sets and I may be able to send the extras to you if you PM me your addy. For the Top Hat setting, use a .050 allen wrench to loosen the two screws on the TH and adjust. There are some tutorials in the QR section, but Mr.266 probably already adjusted it.

Well Anthony .266 is going to put together for me a Condor with all the trimmings sooner or later. It’s in the works.
Hey now,…can you ever remember a special BB or pellet gun that might have been your first or just something that you will never forget?
My First was a Daisy Single Pump where I had to unscrew the muzzle and load the BB’s carefully as to not spill em all over.
Then I graduated to the Sacred Benjamin .22 Pump. I remember once this lady was watering her lawn and as I walked by with my Benjamin on my way to the field. Her aggressive German Shepard came after me and she just stood there watering and didn’t do anything. I was scared. I was young. I happen to have a Pellet in the ole Benjamin with three pumps and I shot her dog. Right in front of her. I tried to shoot the dog in the chest as it jumped up at me but I missed and my pellet hit his right front leg. I saw blood come out and it yelped and limped away.
…But anyway check this ole Crosman out. I found two used on line and one was like Brand new with the Box and owners manual. The Box was pretty old but the rifle looked like new almost. Then one place I found this other one but it was all rusty and grimed out inside. So I went and bought a Crosman 781 and switched out the parts to convert it and make it like new.
Know what rifle im talking about?

Not too sure what I am going to do with the front sight. I was thinking of removing this front sight and placing a Benjamin scope mount up front top of the pump and then maybe place a Airforce front sight on up front but.. I don’t know.
It’s just a single stroker. Only powerful enough to Slay a Dragon Fly. 😉
But there was something about this Crosman I always liked. I have the original one and now this one with a stainless Barrel. I wish they would have done this with the 760!
