TALON CROSSBOW
Sup guys,
I saw a post a wile ago were somone had converted there talon to fire arrows.
does anyone know how to do this and what size the arrows were?
I cant figure out how this is done uless the arrows were .22 .25 or bigger
and what about the fins at the end? anyone know anthing about this?

one way to do it is turn a 18″ barrel down and simply cut off arrow shafts that are a few thousandth larger in diameter than the turned down barrel.
Cut the Shafts off just before the nock area. they will slip over the barrel. by just spinning them in. this will cause the fletching to fold around the arrow, and slide into the frame (shroud) of you gun. This method uses more air, and shoots a bit slower, but is the easiest.
Another method is to have a smooth bore barrel. machined slightly larger in dia. that your intended arrows. Use a multi trailing string or brush material on the end of the shafts as your fletching. This will slide into the barrel. and will catch the air blast from the get go.
The second method is a little stouter. This is the Lemak method if I remember right.
There use to be a Arrow gun on the market made from AR.15 parts. It was very good looking. But expensive. I don’t know what happened to them.
