PROJECT GUNNNN!!!! Need HELP! PIC FINALLY ADDED!!!
Here is a thrown together Microsoft paint, cut and paste project. I fond a CNC miller (TIME!) that can help make these, I also may make them from hand laid carbon fiber by yours truly. Once I get a working mold, The cheek peice on the bottle I have not figured out exactly how to do it yet, but am planning on making it 4 way adjustable. I also will make the RIS/RAS rail to fit on just the front portion of the barrel and if you have Get The Bluejay’s shroud, that will stick out of the RIS railing by about 7″, should look sick as hell. The magazine I am planning on making it a quasi working one, where you can load up a tin of pellets and it will have an ejection port underneath that will eject a “round”. This will be built in line with the trigger guard someone else has on here, sorry I don’t remember I just had 40mg of oxycotton for my pain. Also the butt will also be adapted to fit Wokbutt!
I am very interested in hearing any feed back. this will give you RAILS on 4 sides from handle to tip end of RIS. Let me know what you think,
I know a 4th grader could pull off better paint cut and copy but come on it’s almost 3am and I’m in the F’N hospital…….

the talon tank is already pretty high compared to the scope
and this is a bad thing? LOL Yeah may not be a great idea, only a good one. How about the forgrip, here’s another mock up and almost to scale, sorry not perfect, then again I’m dealing with Paint! Not putting a shitload of time in on it, I am pretty sure the foregrip will fit, but since I don’t have access to my gun….

Your concept is cool, but I think the issue is about the overall look of it. To a cop or the uninformed soccer mom, the clip makes it look like a full-on powder-burner (“assault rifle”), and a mighty vicious one at that. Toss in the fact that the gun isn’t making any noise when you shoot it, and now you’ve got the cops looking for a guy with a machine gun with a silencer on it. 😯 That’ll get your face plastered all over your local 6 o’clock news, sure as the sun will rise.
In other words, the potential risk of major confrontation from Johnny Law doesn’t outweigh the benefit of having an onboard pellet resevoir.
I have the foregrip for an AR15 and it almost fits the condor with the plastic shroud on. I haven’t taken it off, but I bet it will fit perfectly. Would just have to tap it. I was thinking more along the lines of a slip on type mod that would go all the way up to the handle and blend in. I agree with the amount of attention it will bring.
Whats wrong with the mag idea? You wouldn’t be loading the whole tin into it, more like a hollow mag with a push button to unload a round.
There’s a coincidence… I was just looking through a Cheaper Than Dirt catalog at all the AR-15 parts and I got to thinking about what it’d take to mount an AR-15 forearm/handguard on the Talon. Came up with a potential half-baked solution, but I need more info about the AR15 forearm since I don’t have one on hand. Specifically, what’s the standard I.D. of ’em?
But Ribbonstone makes an incredibly valid point as well… The more you “militarize” it, the more eyeballs you attract, so I’m kinda up in the air about how far I want to push things. I know I wouldn’t touch that clip idea with ten foot pole.
Also, gotta say that’s a damn fine effort for MS Paint, IMHO, even if it was cut and paste. Good job! 😉
Really…do you want the kind of attention that air rifle is going to bring upon you? Plinking with that in your back yard might well bring a SWAT team knocking at the door (but they don’t knock politely).
Yes..I’m guilty of giving it a try. Kept it together for all of 5 min.; figured I’d deserve getting shot by an itchy fingered LEO for wandering around with it…and my wiofe would just give my airguns to my brother-in-law after my funeral.
