The 2 lower groups were shot trying to adjust for the wind as per what the flag was doing. The top group was shot with the same POA on every shot..You can see how much the wind moved the POI around….

Well the closest 2 are about 20 miles…Fresh to
brackish is Clear Lake near Johnson Space Center
and the other is call the Gulf Of Mexico.

I was surprised I didn’t see some catfish when it flooded….Could have reached out the front door and had supper….lol
When the wind starts blowing, I step back behind my .25 but even it gets tossed around in Washington wind. What pisses me off here is the wind doesnt blow in a straight line or at the same speed.
We get gusts and sometimes it feels like Im being squashed by a gust from both sides. Pain in the butt to zero in on a target like that.
Last year I was shooting from my table and my hat was blown off my head. It rolled about 15 feet in front of me, turned in a half-circle and blew about 20 feet behind the table. This was in about 5 seconds.
Wow..Definately no ballistic programs to figure the holdover for those conditions…lol…That’s crazy…And I thought fighting the left to right and then right to left switch was a pain….

If your shooting that good in the wind with a .22 caliber, you are shooting very well I dont care who you are.

Here in gundo I am somewhat limited to the garage [7 yards]
That is unless I have to take down a crow
that would be a 32 yard shot.
How great would it be to step out back and fire 65 yard shots ?
Are you able to shoot 65 yards in your yard ?
If so, to me that would be the ultimate living conditions.

Heck yea saw. I am out here in the country. Closest house
is about 200yds….We all have at least an acre….
I have my own water well and septic system.
All I need now is some alternative
energy source and I can tell them all to kiss my butt…
I have the 65yd range setup so that I am shooting from
under my back patio cover and I can stretch it out to 100yds
if I squeeze myself between my driveway and the fence. Here
are a few shots of my slice of heaven…….
This is from my backyard out to that wooden fence which is one end of the land…

This is from driveway in the front of the house back towards back of the land before the range was set up.
This is from the front of the house back to the main road. I squeeze myself between the barbed wire fence and the driveway on the right hand side when I want to shoot 100+ yds
And this is my 65yd range. I have wooden stakes set every 5yds from 20yds to figure holdover and the backstop out by the wodden fence with a shelf for my pellet trap….
Here is my house 2 months after I moved in….Water was 1″ from getting into the house…Close call…
