Looking Back at my Predictions….

Back in December of 07, I wrote a little post regarding the state of the TAG…back before it was ‘officially’ the TAG… I’d made some predictions and thought I’d dig up the old post and see what of them were true.

Some things have evolved…

WOK seems to be the #1 spokesman (spokesperson?) and throws out http://www.talonairgun.com where ever he posts.

Others have delved in woodwork and have become quite competent.
Still others have built entire guns.

Aesthetic mods are still abound as in the old days, but now more and more performance mods such as valves and such showing up. Some of us may remember the heavy hammers of old, a spark plug socket. Gone are those days.

Some things will evolve…

We will lose Lama when and if he discovers tail and cars.

Predictions for the TAG (TAF?)

Gamebred, Jlee, and Bassjacker will make a cameo. Jlee will stay long enough to give a glimpse into Area 51 and will either slip into another alcohol induced trance for a while, or will finally be abducted.

Gamebred will return long enough to see how things are going and will again be swept into the abyss. He will retire from service, move to
Nevada and open up a brothel where all the old members of the now defunct TOG will get discounts. Lama’s mom will work there.

Bassjacker will return after a long haitus and will draw up a cool new logo for the TAG (TAF?)

WOK will start to produce and sell his now famous buttpad on his Talon. AF will soon take note of the sales and begin offering all Talons with the same design of buttpad and grip. Hell will also freeze over and Rosie O’Donnell
will slim down, denounce lesbianism, and make the cover of Playboy.

Last prediction… TAG (TAF?) will be the name on everyones lips when they think of AirForce Airguns.

Maybe I’ll get one prediction right.

I got a few of them right! Game and Bass have made appearances back here… though I’ve not seen JLee…. Last I’d heard, he was having some heart trouble.

While Bass has returned, he has not graced us with any more of his artwork…

Game has not retired from service, but I still stand by my brothel prediction when he does.

Lama has apparently not yet discovered tail as he is still with us.

WOK is indeed selling the buttpads, named by yours truly as the WOKBUT

…and yes, the TAG is THE place to talk about AirForce airguns…. go on any airgun forum and ask about a Condor or Talon and you’ll be directed here…

so…… I didnt do too bad with the predictions.

I can’t remember how I found this place.I think I was in the market for a pellet gun and the rest is history. I would like to thank all the wonderful people who made and continue to make this site available to us. THANK YOU.

Tony, Adam, Tron, YN, Rob3dr, Lama (Weeee), are the “A” Team responsible for puttin’ TAG on the frontline. I still love YN’s Winston Churchill’s middle finger post the most !!!!!!!!!!

C’mon Ninj……. post it up for posterity. The boyz would love to see it. 😀 😀

Well, I was only on the old tog for a few days before it it went tits’ up.

I never did feel the door hit me in the butt, but I sure felt the warm welcome here a few days or week later when I found it by pure accident!

What a great day it was! 😀

Funny story about that.

Before the old TOG disappeared the owner had closed down the site without notice. He then opened it back up and I put out a call telling everbody to copy as much as possible to save the information and not lose it to ether.
Since it was the members who put up the information they have the right to preserve it. Well, the owner of the TOG got really pissed off at me and shut down the TOG for good due to me telling people to copy and save the info. Good thing I did because the TOG was shut down and disapeared with all the information lost.

Many of our members had saved information and we were able to get some of it up here on the TAG. But to tell the truth the TAG is filled with the same great guys and characters as the TOG was and the information we have here is better then ever.

And BTW we hope people do copy and save information they want and need 😀
