Condor with JFK custom part installed
A few weeks ago I got a pleasant surprise in my mailbox, JFK gave me his prototype grip adapter. This is the same one WOK posted pictures of a few months ago, here it is on my rifle.
Being a prototype, John said it had some imperfections, but I couldnt find any.
Mounted in front of it is a fold down foregrip on a custom made picatinny rail. The rail came on the rifle when I bought it. It looks like a good fit with JFKs part.
Not so hidden inside the trigger guard is a tacky safety rod I hastily made out of a coat-hanger because the original was too short. This one flops about and is a touch too long but still works fine.
The safety knob was made by WOK. (thanks buddy)

Hey, thats nice its aready got the tip removed.
some of that tool handle dip stuff will probably work real good on it, I have some needle noise that has had that stuff on them for over 20 years, it’s still kind of holding up.
this is the grip I finally went for, at that price it better be nice.

And also, I never could agree with a foregrip. Sure on a shotgun or in close distances it seems quickly (not as much “movement”) aimable. Not realy good for (nor helps) longrange on a rifle. LR for these being, like, 50+ yards…
Hey GTBJ, I am thinking of dipping or wrapping this grip with rubber. If I use the thinner inserts it might come out just right.

Thanks riff, that’s what I was thinking with that one, I’m having a hell of a time finding a decent ar grip, all of the nice ones I looked at and wanted a cupple years ago are all discontinued 👿
how do you like that grip? dose it have a nice soft feel to it, or is it just hard plastic?
Its just plastic, which kinda pissed me off a tad. It looked to be made of rubber in the adverts.
Its a touch slippery feeling as-is but that is wearing off quickly.
It has 3 interchangable inserts for both the front and back. I used the middle sized one in the rear, and the single fingergroove in front. Feels ok, but I will go for something different next time.
I have a grip that came with the rifle, but it had been trimmed back too far to fit this adapter. Too bad cuz I really liked how it felt and I suckered myself into buying this one.
