Q:

Hmmm, anyone tried this…

or would it benefit anything???
If you put an o-ring on the outside of the tophat to seal the slide connection between it and the hammer, would that buy any more power/quietness, or does the air not come out there. I know some guys are making an o-ring mod where the shaft comes out of the valve, but I didn’t know if an o-ring on the tophat would do anything to help with escaped air/noise. I also remember someone making slap-mods for the hammer, but I am talking about sealing the tophat where the hammer slides over it.

thanks

oh…duh…I meant on the breach slide not the hammer. It looks like there may be one there then…thanks WOK…

May prevent proper seal of the bolt to tophat. Bolt may rest on oring, not against the tophat. ❓

There is an oring inside the bolt that seals with the top hat. Just look inside the bolt
