Q:

Happy-brag.

PCP, HPA, or Co2 in calibers .177, 20, and .22, have never had the Talon SS do as well as it did today running on co2 with that adapted 16” .177 match barrel and homemade bushings (takeoff barrel from an old Gamo 126 SSP). Have to conclude that the barrel and the barrel’s bushings fit to the frame make the difference.

Had narrowed the pellet choices down to the best shooting in previous tests. Re-ran the tests at 25 yards.

Talon SS…30mm 10X42 (cheap) scope…80F….bench rest.

To date, I’ve not had 45 consecutive shots that did as well with anything but a full match rifle. Certainly had one or two groups as good or better, but not over all.

(You know when you’re hooked when you keep thinking about that one low shot with the Supermags…if not for that one dropped shot….).

Just had to brag about my new high-water mark.

If i could get these wings to flap, might shoot straight.

Thats crazy. That looks like a homemade attempt at pouring your own.

The must have not closed the mold when they pressed that one.

OH! that one is just NUTS!

Hope you still have it in one piece.
You should mold it into some clear plastic and use it as a paper weight!

Man. They farming out production to China?

They don’t look like they are from the same company! Crap!!!

To be fair to CPH’s, the only ones I have left in any amount are the ones on the right….the “maxi-pad CPH’s” (with “wings”). Might do as well or better with better made lots, but these are crappy.

Damn fine shooting!

Looks like the CPH’s are not quite right for this gun looking at how the others did.

Thanks for showing this!
