Yellow Ninja’s Latest SS setup
Counting frames this is my Third Air Force Rifle – Originally had a Condor which was converted to a shrouded .25 running at 86fpe.. and then sold 😥 , then I got an SS and then I bought a new frame and replaced a few parts to get this latest incarnation.
Apparently the new frame I purchased is one of the Purple ones – But only when I use the flash so I’m not too bothered.
Starting from the front it has a machined baffle insert, weaver rail adapter with a Surefire 6P Cree light, red flip up filter and pressure switch.
Two swivel studs mounted into the forearm – one with a light weight bipod. Barrel screws replaced with stainless steel.
Over travel adjustment screw, trigger pins replaced with precision stainless, modified ergo foxbat grip.

Internally it also has a custom bronze hammer weight I made and vented bushings from Tony.
Now its finally back together and quiet I can set-up the Valve Blodnob graciously gave me.
Thanks to Blodnob for the Valve, SelphB for help with the valve, Anthony266 for the bushings and everyone else for the other idea’s I ripped off from them.

Small parts
1/8 x 1/2″ dowel pins
They have fit all the frames I’ve tried them in. However I have had 1 trigger part (out of… 4 sets I’ve tried) they have been too large for.
This frame and trigger parts are new and it fit fine.
Ninja, where did you get the stainless drift pins for the trigger group?
I have one that keeps moving out, want to replace all of them and I like the stainless idea.

920 sounds good with what pellet is that fps
Yelz is right – I’d only just put it back together after being in peices while I gathered up/made parts and this was before I made a heavy hammer. Even with wheel on max it was only getting 400fps from the blodnob valve until I made the heavy hammer – now it does 920fps around 3.
Buster if i had to guess i would say that he is using the stock hammer spring and needed some more umph for the BN valve and heavier hammer but i am sure he will chime in at some point

There’s ~1/4″ missing from the front because the end cap doesn’t protrude – but the morgan extends the back end more than that.
Might just be thicker around middle to look shorter?
Jlee and a few other’s cut their frame’s. I’d do it – But it would require a silencer to make it quiet so not worth it when there’s a perfectly good frame.

I’m selling that bipod. Its a featherweight or something. I had the package around somewhere yesterday when I posted it for sale but now I cant find it. It says “made in USA” all over the packaging and it certainly isn’t one of those bendy Chinese clip on efforts.
It is however some kind of glass filled polymer (per package), but strong enough and doesn’t weigh much. If you can find a Harris for cheap I’d get a Harris (which is what I did and why I’m selling – But I used that for a few years and its certainly stable – I shot a group under 1/2 inch at 50 yards – Cygnusx and his brother in law were witness’s.
