Predator Big Boy’s
All Replies
They are Kodiaks
Big boys are not BISLEYS
Canada Targets has them in .25, send Jocelyn an E-mail or call them, with the exchange it could be worth it, I know he has lots of US customer
The Big Boys fly as well as Kodiaks in my setup. I like em. I bought 3 little plastic containers of them from Predator back when they were right out of the molds.
FYI, the lead is much softer than EJs which should be excellent for mushrooming. I have a slab of scrap granite out in the yard and through the scope you can see these suckers totally flatten and bounce off the slab.
Knife’ , I thought Kodiaks ARE Barracudas, just with beeman label on tin.
If anyone wants some H&N Barracudas .25 let me know. We got plenty over here in the UK.
Yep, they are. I’ve bought quite a bit in .22. I’ve just never seem them in the Barracuda tin in .25 here Just the Beeman marking. I would Love to have a tin or two. But I’ll bet the shipping would be killer!
I have several tins in .22, but I’m switching to a .25 bbl. with nothing to go in it! 🙁
So far the .22 Pred. big boys are not bad in my 18″ .22, but I can’t wait to try the .25!
😀

I’ve bought a few tins of H&N Barracuda’s in .22 here. PA use to sell them that way. Wish I could find some of the Barracuda’s in .25. I know the Beeman’s are out of stock everywhere, but you would think there would be some Barracuda’s!
Mike
Something called Bisley Magnums, I think over there.
In .22 they are the bisley magnums

I will m8
ordered them so should get them next week
were do you find the Kodiaks pellets
Let us know how they work out for you. I guess it’s like every thing else. Some guns like different pellets better than others. Seems like JB’s and Kodiaks shoot well in more guns than anything else out there! 😀
Mike
thats still good grooping in windy weather
sounds like they will work then
thanks
think i will order some then
cheers Mike thanks Daren
Well I just shot a 90 yard group with them. Two touching, two more left and right of the group. (very Windy here) and one flier. My bad.
Over all group-2 1/4″ including the flier. Take the Flier out, and they went 1 3/4″ in a 15 mph Semi cross wind. Not Bad.
I shot a group with Kodiaks at the same time. They went the same 1 3/4″ with apx. 3″ less drop at the same distance.
They show promise. I need to try them in a bbl. that has a few of them through it first. then shoot for group. Still way to expensive!
Still waiting on the 18 Gr. JB’s from AOA. I have high hopes for them! 😀

Sorry. they aren’t Kodiaks either. They are made by JSB. It .22 Kodiaks weigh apx. 21 grains. And are made by H&N and Sold as Barracuda’s . They are relabeled as Kodiaks for Beeman, The New Pred Big Boys Weigh 26 Grains. They are a much longer pellet. One company is in Germany if I remember right. The other in The Chez. Republic
I did another test with them today at 40 yards out of a 18″ bbl. with condor valve. Kodiaks went 6 shots at 1/4 of an inch. The Big Boys went 7/8’s by 1″ in a star shaped cluster. Still good enough for rabbit head at that range, but barley. I had better luck with them at 90 yards a few days ago. But Still not great.
If they are making them in .25, they haven’t put anything out about it.
