Good, hopefully it didn’t give ya’ too much trouble.

Very well, on to the next problem, 😆

i got the barrel out… 😆

thanks for all the help guys

i looked at my gun and th only thing that holds th bbl id 2 screws in the bottom of frame under the grip
well mine isnt under cause my grip is moved back
but i would be under if mine was in original position
mine may be an older one
check quick ref section there is a picture diagram there

hmmm…i just realized something…lol…i have a bi pod and i think thats what is covering the last screw that needs to be removed…

Not positive about the foregrip screw, but take it out anyway to be sure.

Not sure if you have seen this but here’s some good stuff…http://www.stealthresource.org/

Btw, leave the power wheel set screw out if you’re trying to take the barrel out!!!

just wandering…the screw that holds the forestock is that one of the 4 screws that has to be removed? or is there 2 screws that needs to be removed after the forestock screw’s removed?

peter559,

you have to remove all the set screws that you see on your gun. I think Crowpopper has an older gun, I am pretty sure AirForce added the extra set screws to newer guns for a stronger hold on the barrel.

Maybe you could try heating the frame up a bit with a hairdryer or heat gun? It could expand just enough to let the barrel slide out, be careful with the heat though, not too much, wouldn’t want to cook it. I think that should help, if not, I am sure someone will be along eventually with something tht works. Hope this helps.

mine just had to twist and pull

quote crowpopper:

you only have to take the screws outta the frame under the hand guard and on side of barrel
i belive
i only had 2 screws holdin my barrel in both on bottom of frame

i c…i put back the power wheel set screw…but still the barrel isnt moving…is it suppose to just slide out???

you only have to take the screws outta the frame under the hand guard and on side of bbl
