Stock Airforce Talon SS groups
Hi, There.
What degree of accuracy should I expect from a stock Airforce Talon SS with a 12″ barrel?
Let’s say with a 3000 psi N2 fill, 21 grain pellets, and a 30 yd. distance.
I’d be using the variable power scope Airforce sells as well.
What kind of groups should I expect?

Mine shoots tighter groups if I fill to 2600 psi than it does at 3000 psi. 30 yds. you can get ragged one holes easy.
If your good and steady, dime sized. If you are fantastic, and incredable, smaller.
at 30 yards it’s going to depend on your pellets, hold, breathing, heartbeat twitch and trigger technique.
the ss will amaze you at that range.

I agree with maw, GTBJ, and TerryinTN, 2,600psi fill on
a stock gun with PW on 6 seems to be the best starting
point out of the box….It makes a good starting point so
you can see the results of any adjustments you decide
to make later…..Shoot a couple of tins at one setting and
the same fill psi before you start making changes…..You
need to know your gun and how it reacts to you. (pellets, hold, breathing,
heartbeat twitch and trigger technique)…They are all
slightly different….
